Everything

I don't know if you have seen this or not, but please watch it and then read my thoughts under the video.....

To me it makes me realize how much I put things in front of God....It doesn't haven't to be alcohol, money, or a girl.... I put myself in front of Him... I'm selfish.... I do all the "Christian" things.... I go to Overflow on Tuesdays, lead worship at youth Wednesdays, lead small groups for the youth Mondays, go to Life church on Sunday, pray for people.... I've done it all... and that is not a brag.... I'm pointing out even though I attend all these events and do all these things I'm still finding myself putting God on the shelf.... all the time He is patiently waiting for me to come back... He is there... through the good and bad.... He is offering me unconditional love, but I would rather play in the dirt.... I want to be reminded that I am strong through Christ (Philippians 4:13) and that it's OK to say God I need you.....and He will come and save you (Acts 2:21) and that's real....

Who Dat?

You have to give it up to the New Orleans Saints last night for winning Super Bowl XLIV. However, It was beyond football. That game wasn't about the Saints winning their first Super Bowl it was about the city of New Orleans having something to cheer about.... They have went through so much adversity.... This is something to be proud of...This was part of the rebuilding....This part was of the healing process..... I'm not a Saint's fan, but last night everyone was a Saint's fan.... Congrats NOLA.....
